Dr Kerris Bright
Kerris is a highly experienced business leader bringing a customer-centred, data driven approach to setting strategy and executing with creative flair. She has over three decades of experience with world class organisations in both the private and public sector. She is an experienced Executive Committee and Board member.
Currently Chief Customer Officer for the BBC where she is on a mission to create ‘Value for All’ by building a BBC brand that is more loved and valued by its audiences, she is accountable for £3.8 billion of revenue through creating a nation of willing licence fee payers; generating the audience data and insight that powers BBC decision making; and engaging audiences in the BBC through marketing.
Prior to the BBC, Kerris held a number of Chief Marketing Officer roles at Virgin Media, British Airways and ICI Paints. She has also held senior marketing and general management roles across several Unilever companies.
Prior to embarking on her business career, Kerris was awarded a PhD in Molecular Neuroscience from the University of Sussex.
