Discover more with Library Subject Guides!
Library subject guides bring together recommended resources and support in one convenient place. Whether you are studying, teaching or developing learning materials, they can help you find relevant databases, eBooks, eJournals, Special Collections and academic skills support.
Over the summer vacation, each Database, eBook and eJournal page on our 65 discipline-specific guides has been refreshed to spotlight new Library acquisitions, publications by University of Manchester teaching and research staff, and titles requested through the Order a Book service.
Look out over the coming months for entries featuring winners of our latest Open Access Monograph competition and new digital archive collections.
Whilst discipline-specific guides also provide access to relevant Special Collections and the award-winning My Learning Essentials skills support and workshops, our additional support guides offer more detailed information on specific areas. These range from referencing and copyright to specialist topics such as how to conduct a systematic review.
Our subject guides reinforce the Library's commitment to personalised and digitally enabled learning, aligning with the University's strategy From Manchester for the World. Exploring them can help students find trusted resources more quickly and give academic staff up-to-date content to support teaching, learning and research.
