Eagle Genomics

Manchester enables Eagle Genomics to enhance its commercial portfolio with new support and development services.

Technical staff from Eagle Genomics were seconded in to the myGrid Computer Science Group, who developed the Taverna workflow management system.

Over a period of weeks knowledge was exchanged between the two groups that enabled Eagle Genomics to provide commercial-grade technical support for Taverna users, whilst developing a relationship with the University that has led to a successful £500k research collaboration funded by the Technology Strategy Board.
