North-west 2015 KTP Showcase highlights

In November 2015 universities from north-west England celebrated 40 years of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP).

It really has made a difference working with a university! You must be able to move your business forward with some form of innovation – and any business that isn’t working with a university and tapping into academia is seriously missing out.

KTPs are a UK-wide government funded programme aimed at helping UK businesses to improve competitiveness, productivity and performance through better use of the knowledge, research and expertise residing in universities.

At the event, universities celebrated the KTP scheme, raised awareness among a range of companies from across the region, and showcased some of the successful partnerships that have been supported in recent years.
