How to host a reunion
If you’re ready to bring people together, we’ll help you connect with the alumni you’d like to invite.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on what you need to get started. We recommend you plan at least six months in advance for small gatherings, or 12 months for larger reunions.
Email us with the details of who you’d like to reach.
We can usually find alumni by:
- year of graduation;
- subject of study;
- location.
If you have more specific requests, such as halls of residence or societies, let us know, although we can only help if they’ve shared this information with us.
When requesting individual searches (such as ‘David Smith’), please include as much detail as possible, like their graduation year and subject, to help us find the right person.
Think about what details to include in your message.
For example:
- Are you gauging interest in a reunion or have you already set a date and venue?
- Is this event just for alumni or are families welcome?
Include your contact details so people can reply directly to you.
Hosting in Manchester?
We can put you in touch with colleagues in your old School or campus buildings you'd like to visit, or we may even be able to arrange a tour.
Once you’ve finalised your invite details, we’ll search our alumni database and if we have their email or postal address, we’ll send them a message on your behalf and will ask them to reply directly to you.
Special perks for Manchester reunions
Alumni enjoy cheaper stays at the Hyatt Regency and Hyatt House, located right on campus.
