Enjoy ongoing library access

As a UK resident alumni, you’re eligible for free lifetime membership to the University Library. It’s a simple way to stay connected to the University and keep learning.  
 
While the membership lasts a lifetime, it does need to be renewed every ten years. 

As an alumni member, you can:

• Borrow up to 15 books (excluding high demand loans), with loans running for the entire academic year. Just note: if someone requests a book you’ve borrowed, you may be asked to return it early.
• Access the main library during its public opening hours. Note: this doesn’t include access to the Alan Gilbert Learning Commons.
• Use an external-user PC in the main library to explore a wide range of academic electronic resources that aren’t available off-site. Note: alumni accounts cannot use the  printers as IT accounts aren’t provided.
