MCI hosts salon on 100th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement

University of Manchester historian Dr Pierre Fuller and MCI Director Prof Peter Gries have hosted an informal gathering of students and scholars to discuss the legacy of the May Fourth Movement.

Held in the reading room of the Manchester China Institute on 2 May, the discussion was highly interdisciplinary and offered perspectives from history, political psychology, economics and sociology.
