MICRA and AMBS host joint webinar on COVID-19 and older workers

The event was chaired by MICRA Co-Director Tarani Chandola. Presenting, Dr Sheena Johnson was joined by Emily Andrews, Senior Evidence Manager at the Centre for Ageing Better, and Mat Ainsworth, Assistant Director – Employment (Policy, Strategy & Delivery) Greater Manchester Combined Authority.

The webinar gives some background to how older workers are potentially disproportionately affected given their increased risk to COVID-19 and considers what support employers can put in place to mitigate this.
