Placement Year Bursary
The Placement Year Bursary is available to students from low-income households and independent students who are completing a placement year as part of their course.
What do these mean? — eligible students for Placement Year Bursary
- Care experienced or Care Leaver
- Students who have spent time in local authority care, or who are studying without the support of their family.
- Independent / Estranged students
- Students who are financially independent of their parents, or who have no contact or support from their family.
- Low income households
- Students from low-income households, usually assessed via Student Finance England household income data.
