Course overview
With our Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredited degree, you’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of the role of real estate in society, business and to the end-user.
The impact of globalisation and sustainability on real estate practice is also reflected throughout the course, with opportunities to examine legal and regulatory frameworks and property markets on an international basis.
We expect that students will be required to spend a minimum of 20 study hours a week for this MSc.

Who is this course for?
This is a fast-track conversion course, specifically for those who would like more real estate knowledge to apply to their place of work, or who want a change of career into the real estate sector.
Where will it take me?
Successful graduates take a leading role in addressing the challenges facing the real estate industry. They have gone on to successful careers for top employers in areas including environmental management and consultancy, urban planning and design, real estate development, urban and regional development policy, central and local government, international development and energy and water.

Blended learning
MSc Real Estate is a blended learning programme. Course content is delivered online using web-enabled technology systems. You’ll have the opportunity to meet academics who teach the course, engage with the course materials and network with your peers alongside face-to-face, three-day workshops hosted twice a year in Manchester.

Policy on additional costs
All students should normally be able to complete their programme of study without incurring additional study costs over and above the tuition fee for that programme.
