  • The Main Library is the UK's largest single-site academic library with staff on hand to support you with learning skills.
  • With 24/7 access, and even individual sleeping pods, the Alan Gilbert Learning Commons is always there for you, especially if you learn best at night.
  • Subject-specific student hubs are equipped with the latest technology, designed for courses in the Arts, Biology, Engineering and more.

Places to go - top tips

  1. Try the Students' Union. It's a social space to meet people, study or unwind between lectures.
  2. The Historic Reading Room in The John Rylands Library is one of the most Instagrammable places.
  3. Subject-specific student hubs are equipped with the latest technology, designed for courses in the arts, biology, engineering and more.
  4. The Nancy Rothwell Building has hundreds of flexible study spaces and booths, plus cafes to grab refreshments or a quick revision break.
  5. There is a Library Living Room which has been created to offer a warm, comfortable space to take a break or unwind.
