Overview

In this unit you will complete a public health literature review project of your choice in a country of your choosing.

Aims

This unit aims to build a knowledge base on the development of the public health project that demonstrates all the principles of public health, health promotion, health protection, global health and healthcare management in a student selected topic.

Teaching and learning methods

The majority of the course will be through e-learning which will include required and additional learning, self-tests and discussion boards. There will be 5 webinars that will be recorded to allow synchronous and asynchrounous learning.

A1 Criticall apply alternative approaches to maximise the potential benefit from scientific enquiry, to improve the way in which health care is provided, internationally.

A2 Critically appraise health and ill-health and understand the underlying principles behind inequalities in health, internationally.
