Fees
Tuition fees for home students commencing their studies in September 2025 will be £9,535 per annum (subject to Parliamentary approval). Tuition fees for international students will be £33,500 per annum. For general information please see the undergraduate finance pages.

All students should normally be able to complete their programme of study without incurring additional study costs over and above the tuition fee for that programme.
Policy on additional costs
All students should normally be able to complete their programme of study without incurring additional study costs over and above the tuition fee for that programme. Any unavoidable additional compulsory costs totalling more than 1% of the annual home undergraduate fee per annum, regardless of whether the programme in question is undergraduate or postgraduate taught, will be made clear to you at the point of application. Scholarships/sponsorships
The Manchester Bursary is available to UK students registered on an undergraduate degree course at Alliance MBS who have had a full financial assessment carried out by Student Finance England.
In addition, Alliance MBS will award a range of Social Responsibility Scholarships to UK and international/EU students.
These awards are worth £2,000 per year across three years of study. You must achieve AAA at A-level (or equivalent qualification) and be able to demonstrate a significant contribution and commitment to social responsibility.
The School will also award a number of International Stellar Scholarships to international students achieving AAA at A-level (or equivalent qualification). Applicants who exceed AAA and/or have supplementary qualifications (such as EPQ) will receive additional consideration.

Overview
Acting as consultants, students will be required to work in groups to deliver a comprehensive solution to a complex and live case study with support and guidance from their client. Starting with a ‘scenario’, student groups will interpret their own issues and questions and examine the resources they need to derive a solution. In this process they will acquire and apply the requisite knowledge from corequisite course units. Introducing students to Enquiry-Based Learning (EBL) through an industry set project will enable them to take on leading roles in their future working environments, direct change, ask important questions, solve problems and develop new knowledge.

Attendance: Attendance at all classes and ITMB showcases is compulsory and will be monitored.
- Failure to attend the ITMB showcase during each semester without a valid reason (supported by acceptable evidence) will result in the student being awarded a mark of 0 for the group presentation.
- If a student is unable to attend a seminar, lab or workshop due to illness or another valid mitigating circumstance, then s/he may submit their case to the School’s Mitigating Circumstances panel for consideration. Details of how to submit a case to the mitigating circumstances panel are available in the Student Handbook.
