Study abroad destinations
At Manchester we have links with numerous partner universities around the world where you could study abroad for up to a year. These opportunities are subject to availability and may change from year to year.
European partners
Many of our academic Schools have subject-to-subject exchanges with European universities (for example the geography department in Manchester has a link with the geography department in the Universidad de Granada in Spain). These agreements are known as Erasmus+ exchange agreements.
Programmes in Europe are currently supported by the European Commission within the Erasmus+ Programme. For more information on the programme visit the Erasmus+ website.
Please note that the range of partnerships on offer and continued Erasmus+ support for programmes within Europe is subject to the outcome of Brexit negotiations.

We also have many partners outside of Europe. Most of these partnerships are not subject-specific and are open to students from almost all subject areas across our University.
