Undergraduate virtual open week
Take part in our undergraduate virtual open week to learn more about life at Manchester and explore our campus from your own home.
Register your interest
As an alternative to our on-campus open day events, we’re running an undergraduate virtual open week with popular open day talks and subject information sessions, from Monday, 15 to Friday, 19 June 2020.
What to expect
You'll be able to chat live with our staff and students to find out more about:
- student life
- the admissions process
- student finance
We'll provide a full timetable of bookable sessions shortly. Sessions will run from 10am to around 4pm each day. While general information sessions will run through the week, there will be Faculty/subject focused days:
- Monday – Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health
- Tuesday – Faculty of Science and Engineering
- Wednesday – Faculty of Science and Engineering (morning) and Faculty of Humanities (afternoon)
- Thursday – Faculty of Humanities
- Friday – Faculty of Humanities
Preparing for your virtual experience
Gathering information about the courses you're interested in is a crucial part of your open day. Make sure you plan your day around your preferred subject sessions. Use our course finder to search for a course and filter your selections by study abroad, industrial experience, foundation year, scholarships and sponsorships, and foreign language options.
Tours of the campus and city
To help you get a feel for the University, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in a virtual tour of our campus and the city.
Student support sessions
A series of student support sessions will be on offer to tell you about the support available at the University and some of the extracurricular activities you can be involved in.
