Stopford Building

The Stopford Building is home to Medicine and Pharmacy programmes at Manchester.

As the UK's largest medical school we provide a wide range of excellent learning and training facilities to our students, including the Clinical Skills Learning Centre, where they can consult with simulated patients  and practice clinical skills on colleagues and ‘SimMan’.

Jean McFarlane Building

The University appointed Jean McFarlane as England's first Professor of Nursing and she established the country's first nursing degree. The building in her name is the home of Nursing and Midwifery at Manchester, providing spaces to continue her trailblazing work educating healthcare professionals of the future.
