Quatuor Danel lunchtime concert – 200 years special
The Quatuor Danel performs Franz Schubert's 'Rosamunde' String Quartet in A minor, which shares its bicentenary birthday with the University. Followed by a performance workshop with Dr Anne Hyland.

At its lunchtime concert on Thursday, 24 October, the Quatuor Danel will perform Franz Schubert's 'Rosamunde' String Quartet in A minor.
This quartet dates from 1824 and has been specifically chosen to coincide with the University's 200-year anniversary, continuing our year-long bicentenary celebrations.
The concert will be followed at 2.30pm by 'Inside Chamber Music' with Dr Anne Hyland: a public masterclass hosted by Senior Lecturer in Music Analysis Dr Anne Hyland and the Quatuor Danel.
Part of the Walter Carroll Lunchtime Concert Series and supported by the Ida Carroll Trust, the Thursday lunchtime concerts are free and there’s no need to book.
