The conference was held at Manchester Museum and included a series of masterclasses led by industry leaders from Black heritage backgrounds based on Entrepreneurship, Being Black in the Corporate Space, STEM and Finding the Right Career for You. There was also the opportunity for attendees to network, enjoy a spoken word performance and some food and refreshments.
Trivia and TEDx Night
A night of ideas, interactions, and inspiring TED talks, passionately delivered by fellow Black student leaders. Attendees engaged in thought-provoking discussions and listened to empowering stories. We also presented trivia based on questions about Black history, culture, and achievements.
Student networking event
M10/10 students from various Faculties and backgrounds were able to connect with each other, develop their networks and gain insights into different fields of study.

It also ran sessions which helped with academic success as well as just overall self-improvement, while also creating an environment where I was able to meet many amazing people."
“This is a community that makes me feel welcome and allows everyone to share who they are.”
