Healthy Ageing Research Group presents summary event with Ambition for Ageing
MICRA were thrilled to attend the latest online event by Ambition for Ageing, a close partner organisation of MICRA, as part of their acclaimed seminar series.
The event took place on 16 June, was presented by Jane McDermott and described the work done by the Healthy Ageing Research Group (HARG).
The Healthy Ageing Research Group are closely affiliated to MICRA and have a large area of expertise which includes research on falls/fall prevention, strength and balance, and health technologies.
In the session, Jane gave a comprehensive overview of the HARG research, including their work and collaboration on falls prevention mapping across GM. HARG works closely with the GM Ageing Hub on this, as well as partners and stakeholders across 10 GM localities including healthcare practitioners, strategy and policy leads, commissioners and voluntary/community sector representatives.
