HR Excellence in Research
The University is proud to have been awarded the European Commission’s HR Excellence in Research badge.
We've held the European Commission’s HR Excellence in Research Award since 2011, recognising our full adoption of the principles of the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers.
We have successfully retained the award through a number of reviews in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021. Our 2023 report and action plans have been submitted for review by Vitae and the UK Panel. Our Concordat action plans for biennial reviews aim to transform the research environment for our researchers.
