The University is proud to have been awarded the European Commission’s HR Excellence in Research badge.
We've held the European Commission’s HR Excellence in Research Award since 2011, recognising our full adoption of the principles of the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers.
We have successfully retained the award through a number of reviews in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023. Our Concordat action plan aims to transform the research environment for our researchers.
