Planning fee payments to fit in with your visa application

It’s important to plan your fee payments for your study at The University of Manchester.

If you’re an international student undertaking a one-year taught master’s course, you will be required to pay a non-refundable tuition fee deposit before an electronic Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) can be issued.

If you’re not required to pay a deposit, you can still make an early payment of your fees if you find this more convenient. If you’re planning to make a pre-payment of fees before applying for a visa, please be aware of the processing time required for payments to be reflected in your CAS.
