Assessment

Methods of assessment vary from three-hour written exams to 100% continuous assessment.

Some courses may be assessed by a mixture of written exam papers and assessed essays/coursework.

You’ll be fully integrated onto courses and will be expected to follow the same assessments as British students.

Similarly, the same academic rules apply and students should be aware of the seriousness with which offences such as plagiarism and cheating are treated.

Some Schools are able to offer assessment of their courses in December, so that students whose home institution's spring semester begins in early January can complete their study at Manchester at the Christmas break.
