Students carry out an individual project which is generally starts at the beginning of academic year in September itself. The Dissertation project is intended to address a real issue in Maintenance (Reliability) Engineering and Asset Management through the innovative works by development of new methods or applications or field trials, and/or combination of all approaches. The work is then written up in the form of a Dissertation.

Aims

The aim of this module is to carry out a substantial piece of research work in a specific technological area and report on this work in the form of a Dissertation.
