Your statement of purpose should cover the areas outlined below: 

• Tell us why you are interested in the MSc Accounting course at Alliance MBS and how the course will impact on your future
• List any other accounting courses or qualifications you have taken in addition to your undergraduate degree
• Describe what makes you an outstanding applicant and describe your potential to contribute to all aspects of the course.

This specialist master's course combines academic rigour with practical relevance, helping you understand the evolving role of accounting in organisations, markets and society.

The MSc Accounting is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). On successful completion of the programme, you can join CIMA through an accelerated route and gain exemptions from certificate, operational and management level examinations, helping you progress more quickly towards a professional qualification.

Prepare for the CFA qualification
Through our partnership with Kaplan Schweser, the 20 highest-performing students from Semester 1 who demonstrate a strong interest in the CFA qualification receive access to CFA Level I preparation resources. Support includes online study materials, question banks, mock examinations, tutor guidance and one-to-one support. This provides an opportunity to build advanced investment analysis and portfolio management knowledge while preparing for one of the world's most recognised investment credentials.

Experience financial markets through Trading BootCamp Week
Delivered in partnership with Amplify Trading, this immersive experience allows students to work on a simulated trading floor alongside experienced traders. You'll respond to live market developments, economic data and geopolitical events while applying classroom knowledge in a practical financial markets environment, helping you develop commercial awareness and decision-making skills.

Access industry-standard financial data and research tools
Students benefit from access to the Finance Zone, one of the UK's most comprehensive collections of financial and business databases used by researchers and finance professionals worldwide. Resources include Bloomberg, Datastream, Thomson ONE, Compustat, WRDS and Capital IQ, providing valuable experience working with industry-standard financial information sources.
