Value

A Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) provides the opportunity to research within a cohort of researchers in a nationally recognised priority research area.

CDTs train engineers and scientists with the skills, knowledge and confidence to tackle today's evolving issues, and future challenges by providing cohort-based transferable skills training and offering generous funding. CDTs are commonly supported by industry partners and allow collaboration with strategic University partners. They are an excellent way to gain your PhD while working at the cutting edge of UK research.
