PhD Robotics and Artificial Intelligence / Programme details

Year of entry: 2027

Programme description

The RAINZ CDT is a four-year PhD programme that combines taught MSc study with doctoral research. During your first year, you will complete two semesters of master's-level training through one of our MSc pathways and take part in the CDT Summer School at The University of Manchester. You will then spend three years undertaking a PhD research project at The University of Manchester, the University of Glasgow or the University of Oxford.

The project you apply for will determine your MSc pathway, supervisory team and host institution for the research component of the programme. Our PhD projects are co-designed with industry partners and contribute to a shared multidisciplinary cohort research challenge.
