Career opportunities

Our civil engineering graduates have an enviable track record in moving quickly into employment, and are regularly recruited by established engineering consultancies and organisations - Arup, Atkins, Aecom, BuroHappold, Mott McDonald, and Network Rail, to name just a few.
We'll put you in the best possible position to embark on a professional career in the built environment, or along a slightly different career path, such as project management or finance - it's up to you, but we're here to help.
Our Department organises careers events and company visits, while the University Careers Service can advise on career options, finding graduate jobs, internships and postgraduate study.
