Career opportunities
The MEng Aerospace Engineering provides students with a preparation for professional careers in the aerospace and more general engineering industry. Our graduates have gone on to work in design, development, testing and operation of vehicles and systems, as well as in other areas, such as research, management, technical development and finance. The course is fully accredited by RAeS and the IMechE and provides graduates with the all the required academic qualifications for those interested in achieving Chartered Engineering status.

- Chartered Engineer CEng is the highest professional qualification for engineers. It is recognised internationally and renders you eligible for the European Ingenieur (Eurling) qualification.
The process to become a Chartered Engineer has three stages:
- 1. The Educational Base (MEng, or BEng with MSc)
- 2. Initial Professional Development
- 3. Professional Review
