Overview

This unit further develops Engineering Practice skills, in the context of Complex socio-technical engineering systems. Covering topics of engineering ethics, stakeholder identification, life-cycle assessment, risk identification and management, system identification and selection in the face of uncertainty, and risk mitigation. Using a series of cases students will develop a mastery of these topics in the context of aerospace engineering, beyond the Bachelors level. 

Aims

The unit aims to: To further develop master’s level engineering students’ knowledge, experience, and capabilities in a broad range of engineering practice. This includes areas of ethics, sustainability, equality and equity, diversity, and inclusive principals.
