Why study Psychology at Manchester?
Our British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited degree offers a grounding in psychological sciences. You’ll learn from leading clinicians and researchers to develop transferable, practical skills through placements that will prepare
you for the job market.
The course is designed around four themes: mind and brain, evolution and development, adaptability and wellbeing, and psychology in society. You’ll also have some flexibility to tailor units to your interests.
You can gain practical experience through a 30-hour integrated placement in Year 2 or a full-time, year-long placement in Year 3, subject to meeting our progression criteria. You can also choose to study abroad.
