Open days and connecting with us
We're continuously reviewing all of our recruitment events on campus. We now offer a blend of in-person and virtual activities.
If you're a prospective student, you can also find out more about student life by chatting with our student ambassadors at a time that suits you, and ask any questions you may have about life at Manchester.
Is the University still running recruitment events on campus?
We continuously review all of our recruitment events in light of COVID-19 to enable prospective students to experience Manchester while ensuring the safety of our students, staff and visitors.
- We're offering in-person campus tours to all prospective students. These tours are delivered by current students and are mainly outdoors.
- For now, our upcoming open days are taking place online.
Is the University still running offer-holder visit or interview days?
We're carefully reviewing all of our events in light of COVID-19. As we’re unable to host on-campus visits due to the government guidance, offer-holder visits and interview days will be taking place virtually. You'll also receive invitations directly from your programme admissions teams. Please note, the format and availability of these events will vary depending on which course you’ve applied for.
Will Manchester be attending any recruitment fairs/exhibitions?
We liaise closely with organisers of recruitment fairs and hope to be attend events in person soon.
In the meantime, there are a number of ways in which prospective students – as well as parents, teachers and careers advisers – can get in contact with us and get answers to questions about study opportunities at Manchester. These include:
- Manchester Live webinars;
- International exhibitions;
- Ways to meet us if you're a prospective undergraduate student;
- Ways to meet us if you're a prospective master’s student;
- Ways to meet us if you're a prospective postgraduate research student.
Manchester Connect: one-to-one sessions for students
We're offering prospective undergraduate and master’s students the opportunity to book a one-to-one session with a member of University staff. As we aren't currently attending events in person, Manchester Connect provides students who are thinking about applying with the opportunity to speak to us directly about the University, our courses, entry requirements and student life more generally.
