Academic entry qualification overview

You will need at least a UK 2.2 Honours degree in Materials Science, Mechanical and Chemical Engineering, Biomaterials, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering or Chemistry. 

English language

If English is not your first language, you will need to take and meet minimum requirements for the following recognised English language qualifications:  IELTS (6.5 with at least 6 in listening and writing and 5.5 in reading and speaking); Internet based TOEFL: speaking - 20, reading - 20, writing - 22, listening - 22, overall 90. Please contact us if you have an alternative qualification and we will make an individual assessment.

English language test validity

Some English Language test results are only valid for two years. Your English Language test report must be valid on the start date of the course.
