Accrediting organisations

The Library and Archive Studies MA is seeking accreditation from both the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals and the Archives and Records Association. The Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals will finalize their decision about accreditation for the first and subsequent degree cohorts in 2024. The Archives and Records Association is currently reviewing their accreditation process and will continue discussions with the Library and Archive Studies MA. While the University is hopeful that the MA will succeed in its applications for accreditation with CILIP and ARA, accreditation is not guaranteed in respect of any cohort.
