All postgraduate awardees must have achieved a 2.i bachelor's degree (or higher), or an international equivalent, in order to apply.

Applicants must hold an offer of study at The University of Manchester before applying for this funding.

Awardees must not be sponsored or hold a full scholarship.

The award can be held alongside other partial scholarships, subject to the restrictions of that award. It cannot be held alongside the Global Futures Scholarship.

Application procedure

Eligible offer holders will be invited to apply via email if they gain an offer on or before 23 April 2026. Emails will be sent from December 2025 until the day before the deadline.

Decision date

Successful applicants will be notified by 29 May 2026 and will be required to firmly accept their offer of a place by 23 July 2026 in order to confirm their scholarship.
