Sustainable campus

We lead the way in social and environmental impact, ranking number one in the UK and Europe, and number two globally in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings.

Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in the green spaces and initiatives we support on campus – such as projects aimed at enhancing biodiversity, including wildflower meadows, tree trails and insect hotels.

Our spaces are maintained with sustainable practices, promoting environmental health and student wellbeing. We are part of a university scheme to become more nature positive.

See more about how we promote biodiversity and how our campus looks in the snow!
