Typical A-level offer: ABB including History at grade. We offer Russian at beginners or advanced level. If you are taking A Level Russian we will require grade B and you will be placed in the advanced stream.

Study a wide range of historical, literary, linguistic and cultural subjects and periods, in a world-famous and historically rich city.
Perfect your expertise in Russian and spend your third year studying or working abroad in a Russian-speaking country.

Fees

Fees for entry in 2025 have not yet been set. For entry in 2024 the tuition fees were £9,250 per annum for home students, and are expected to increase slightly for 2025 entry.

Policy on additional costs

All students should normally be able to complete their programme of study without incurring additional study costs over and above the tuition fee for that programme. Any unavoidable additional compulsory costs totalling more than 1% of the annual home undergraduate fee per annum, regardless of whether the programme in question is undergraduate or postgraduate taught, will be made clear to you at the point of application. Scholarships/sponsorships

Scholarships and bursaries are available to eligible Home/EU students, this is in addition to the government package of maintenance grants.
