Bedrooms and bathrooms

Salford Student Quarter offers self-contained flats for five to six students. We have around 100 bedrooms available at Salford Student Quarter.

We lease a mixture of rooms, which are Bronze En Suite, Silver En Suite and Gold En Suite. The majority of our rooms are Bronze En Suite.

Bronze En Suite rooms include a single bed (190x90cm). Silver and Gold En Suite rooms have a small double bed (190x120cm).

All rooms come with a desk, study chair, wardrobe, chest of drawers, shelves and bedside table.

The en suite bathrooms include a shower cubicle, washbasin, mirror and toilet.

Why choose Salford Student Quarter?

Salford Student Quarter is located in Salford. There is a frequent bus service from near the halls which runs directly to Oxford Road.

Within your hall, you'll enjoy a common room with TV, free gym, laundry facilities, and 24/7 CCTV. The hall also benefits from extensive green space.

Please note that we lease a portion of the Salford Student Quarter site. Students renting through The University of Manchester will be placed with other students from UoM. Our bedrooms are only available for postgraduates, though there may be undergraduates on site.

Salford Student Quarter is one of the few halls with onsight parking. Parking is administered by IQ Student Accommodation on a first come first served basis.

This hall is approximately 3.2 miles from the centre of campus, University Place.

  • 68-minute walk via Oxford Road.
  • 19-minute cycle: Oxford Road offers protected cycle routes.
  • 41-minute bus journey
