UK master’s student funding
If you are a prospective master’s student from the UK, there are potential sources of funding available.
Postgraduate loans are available for eligible students studying taught and research master’s courses.
The maximum loan for students starting in 2021/22 was £11,570; loans for courses starting in 2022/23 will increase slightly with inflation. Applications for courses starting from September 2022 will open nearer the time.

Recent Manchester graduates may be eligible for a scholarship.

A number of bursaries for students from widening participation backgrounds are available for UK students on master's courses.

Living Cost Support Fund
This fund awards small grants and loans to students facing financial hardship. Applications can be made all year round and submitted by any eligible students, regardless of study level or nationality.
