Our graduates have produced more than 400 ethnographic films, seen around the world. Some have gone on to direct TV series such Tribe and Horizon, documentaries for BBC, Netflix and Channel 4 and have received BAFTA nominations.
Through the course, you’ll develop transferrable skills relevant to interesting and rewarding careers outside of filmmaking, including:
- journalism
- education
- working for international institutions like the UN
- business and personnel management.
The University has its own dedicated Careers Service that you would have full access to as a student and for two years after you graduate. At Manchester you will have access to a number of opportunities to help boost your employability .
