Brunei

Introduction

At Manchester we have a long history of working with Brunei, and have been welcoming Bruneian students for many years. We currently have 38 students from Brunei studying with us, and over 1,700 students from across the ASEAN region.

The University is proud to be an active member of the British Universities in Brunei Association.

Given our experience in hosting students from around the world, we are confident that we are well equipped to meet the specific academic, religious and dietary needs of all students.

Manchester is a vibrant multicultural city with a large Muslim population.

There are prayer rooms available across campus and a number of mosques located near the University and student areas.

Many of our restaurants serve a selection of halal-certified meals and sandwiches, and many front line staff have completed training on how to deliver halal food.
