The Benedict School
The Benedict School in St Petersburg was founded in 1991 as part of the State Marine Technical University and is now the largest non-state owned school of foreign languages in the Northwest of Russia.
Collaboration between the School and The University of Manchester is in two parts:
- Undergraduate students from the Russian Studies Department are placed here as part of their compulsory year abroad.
- A teacher from the St Petersburg school participates in teaching the students in Manchester both before and after their periods of study in Russia.
